The Beatnuts est un groupe de musique hip hop New-yorkais créé en 1989 par Junkyard Ju-Ju et Psycho Les, puis rejoint un an plus tard par Fashion. Ils travailleront avec Cypress Hill, Naughty by Nature ou The Jungle Brothers. En 1993 sort le premier EP "Intoxicated Demons", l'enregistrement est interrompu par l'arrestation de Fashion suivit de son incarcération durant 6 mois. Un an plus tard sort le premier LP du groupe "The Beatnuts". En 1995 Fashion quitte le groupe et fonde God Connections. Les albums suivant seront donc l' oeuvre du duo original. On leur doit entre autre les succès "Watch Your Step" ou "Watch Out Now" samplé par Jennifer Lopez pour son titre "Jenny from the Block". En 2007, Psycho Les apparait dans le film documentaire français Beat Makerz - The Documentary.
