Le spectacle son et lumière Lord of the Danceconnaît un succès inégalé depuis sa création en 1997. Initié par Michael Flatley, ancien danseur de la troupe Riverdance, Lord of the Dance retrace l'histoire d'une légende ancienne du folklore irlandais, au manichéisme revendiqué. Le bien et le mal s'affrontent à coups de gigues, claquettes et chorégraphies millimétrées.
Ce spectacle celtique a été représenté aux quatre coins du monde. Plus de 200 danseurs officient dans quatre troupes différentes, dont deux sont itinérantes et circulent en Europe et aux Etats-Unis, et deux autres offrent un show permanent, l'un à Las Vegas et l'autre au pavillon américain d'Epcot à Walt Disney World Resort en Floride.
